Weber IDF 36 manifolds

I got a set of carbs on eBay a couple if years ago and must get myself organised and fit them...... I don't have manifolds and would be looking for something offset, but I can't find any at '36'. All seem to be a wider diameter. Does anyone know where I can get some 36's or should I give up? I'm guessing 40 would work but would be suboptimal, but to what degree? (I've a 1600 twin port and thinking of going to 1760 with a focus on torque so am not looking for advice on other carbs)
