As yes as a trader of these things you probably should have known better than to buy a lemon :msn4:

for the infomation of the Price Police it did sell .
I bought mine which had full bell pans and about 1/2" of Bondo/filler in all the places where there should've had metal .All of which had a decent layer of unterschutz. It had a good layer of filler on one of the panels and its suprised me how well people can cover up damage.

On he other hand I bought it as it is one of only 3 oslo conversions in the Uk that I know of .this is why I have started my own restoration business because of the poor standard of repairwork around my area.

I have in my workshop at the moment 2 vehicles that are both uk based vehicles and both are rotten, the one should've been condemend and how it ever passed its last 4 Mot's is unbelievable. this as a result will cost the customer more money and time off the road than if he had bought a decent US import.

Savvy!! 8)

Well the police are happy that it sold...

My initial point when I said it was pricey was based on various things.
Its not from a dry state
It does have rust issues
It does nees a lot of work
It needs painting
The interior isn't complete

It was not a for sale ad so I felt it was ok to comment on here about it, I hear ya about rust buckets from the UK and the standard of repairs from some people and applaud you for wanting to help bring the standard up in your area, but the amount of money that westy needs on it is still going to be a lot to get it to a good standard, because as a lot of people on here will testify to, its the details which cost the most and are the hardest to source.

Matt :)
