It will fit, the hub assemblies (I've seen 5 different castings with slight differences) are the same throughout bay production. Stub axles and the outer bearing changed August 1971 for 1972 model year with 5x 112mm PCD. The hubs are slightly different in that there is no outer circlip retaining the bearing. You can swap stub axles by just changing the outer bearing with the stub axle. Early 230mm stub axles take a 72od/35id/17 wide bearing (part no. 211-501-283) Later 206mm stub axles take a 62od/35id/19 wide bearing (part no. 211-501-283D) I'm currently running early hubs with later shorter stub axles. All I did was replace the outer bearing and fit the axles.
