Hi its a stock 1600 tp , had a replacement clutch about three years, 12 k ish
it seems like a short life to me , how long should it last ?.whats a good quality one

Could just be adjustment or maybe a stretched cable? Worn wing nut?
You don't say if it's been checked, if not do that first before shelling out the cash.

Sorry yeah its out and looks tried not knacker but not much meat left was slipping , I was expecting to see any oil leak and this be the reason for slipping oil contamination. Its sachs one , pretty standard from gsf , I have also notice whilst out that the last person had manger to get the piece of the tin wear been engine gear box so this meant they never bolt to gether quite straight and flush, could this explain what I think was a short life.
Any how whats a good clutch ?
