Whether you have a bus, van, panel, ratty etc. What is the one thing "today" that you love about it more than any other vehicle you have ever owned.

For me, my bus has -

Made me look forward to my weekends so that I can get out and about and to have a little tinker.

There isn't just 1 thing I love about my bus, I love every single part of it! It's comfy, practical, shiny, low, fast and cool

I LOVE the colour!!

I love how everytime I think it's sorted it throws up something else to fix. :?

I love the dough ball is it attracts pretty ladies to stand by it ;)

cant blame them

It's a simple pleasure. I relax when driving and chill out, the opposite to the pace that life seems to move at nowadays. and it's technology even i can get my head round and understand without having to ask the kids and feel like a numpty..

I love the independence and mobility it gives us to explore new places - especially our visits to Europe!

Pic from last years trip to Gerona in Spain!

I can't put my finger on one thing but it just makes me feel good, plus the fact that the wife and kids love it makes it all the better.

I love that I made it. Whatever it is, it is that way because I made it that way. There's more filler in it than you can shake a stick at (and I can shake sticks at all kinds of stuff), probably around 10kg of welding wire, and the model year covers AT LEAST 2 decades... but it's more "mine" than anything else I've owned. I can never sell it in case it breaks and kills someone, so it's here with me for life.

I love that it's brought me into contact with some awesome people and stories- buying a whole suspension system for £30 from a farmer, who had the whole bus dumped on his land by some dirty hippies in the 1970s. Cutting the front half off Oz's donor bus "Madonna" and keeping it on the roof of the beetle because I couldn't afford to drive it home from Swansea. Painting a picture of a woman firing lasers out of her tits on the side of it with the title "LASER TITS", then replacing the word tits with BRISTOLS because the neighbours got annoyed.

Lastly, I love that it's got a lot of promise- what was once a dead lump of steel, rot, and dead rats is right now teetering on the edge of being a van, and everything I do on it makes it noticably closer to being a vehicle. Not a good one, but one that I can one day potter about in, drink and smoke in, and just have a good time with.
