As above really, looking to buy some door speakers and tweeters but thought I'd see what size you think would be best?

Before you start cutting holes, have a look at "Sound exciters" I have them and think they are great.

Ive watched a couple of youtube vids on them,they look good. where you get yours from?

I don't really want to cut my westy furniture to accomodate any speakers so I'm just going to put speakers in the front doorcards for now, maybe il add speakers in the rear at a later date. Would 6" speakers in the doors, and a set of tweeters up front sound good enough?

I've not looked these up properly yet, what's the crack with them? Do you still need speakers elsewhere?

Mine came from http://www.rapidonline.com/Audio-Visual/Visaton-Electro-Dynamic-Exciters-500269" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I would get the 25w not the small, I have the small and think you need a little more.
Think I'm gonna get 2 of the bigger.

Hope that helps.

They look really good, do you just have these fitted or speakers aswell?

I just have these, they are connected to an Alpine IDA head unit.
They just need a little more power hence me saying get the larger (I also only have 2 of them) mine are mounted to my old soggy USA door cards so that could also be improved.
I think for the price and the fact that you don't have to cut big holes they are great.

I think you've convinced me (and the wife) I think in going to get 4 of the bigger ones, two up front two in the back.

I was running 4 infinity 6x9, two in front door cards(had to clearance a bit) and two in the board under the bed, off a sony head unit from halfords, it was ok but wanted a little more so upgraded to an Alpine i-pod compatible unit, monoblock amp and 12" sub, wow what a difference. It depends on what you want, but i would recomend doing it first time round rather than paying twice!! Good luck with the install. Bob
