can someone tell me the best insulation to use and where to get it from for a 1964 split roof and panels thanks in advance[photobucket

A chap recently used the egg box from noise killer, looks decent stuff

Wouldn't bother insulating to keep warm - the insulation can turn into a moisture trap and rot your bus from the inside out, as others have found :msn4:

Just get a propex heater or a decent sleeping bag 8)

No matter how much you insulate your bus, heat will always find the quickest exit point. So those massive windows around your bus will make any insulating on your doors almost pointless.

Various places sell sheeps wool offcuts so you could use this if you wish, however as mentioned above, watch out for moisture traps.

My panel van is too warm for my liking :msn4:
If you are going to insulate then you need to wrap your insulation up inside a waterproof membrane. This means that it can't absorb and hold water against the metal.
Be aware that insulation will increase condensation so get some moisture traps as well.

I did see somwhere that a chap used a "sock" insulation in a airbag used around windows in building houses and reckoned they worked great,
