Where does this go?

Anyone know where this goes or have any pictures to show me. I received it in a box of assorted tinware I bought. More importantly, do I need it on my twin port?

Looks like a Beetle piece to me, in front of the pulley

I think it goes over the big nut on the bottom pulley, the way up n round that you've got in your pic.

I had one for my splitty engine but it sat too close to the pulley wheel, bit pointless I think, but someone cleverer than me will be along in a minute to tell us both what it's for!!! :lol:

Yeah I painted mine up all shiney before I realised it doesn't even fit!!!
