I'm finally getting round to fitting my Pioneer DAB radio but have yet to buy an aerial. Can anyone recommend a decent glass mounted one please. Many thanks. :)

I was told las week that the stick on window aerials don't work well on our bays because all the window surfaces are vertical and it should be on a raked windscreen.

I ended up buying a standard looking one which attaches with a magnet. Works really well when it's in the garage and it's ***** on the move so needs some modification!

I use a body mount jobbie. Works perfectly. Never had a drop out and I've been to some remote places.

You will need a hole in your roof though...

I've got a Sony dab radio with Sony screen aerial. its stuck on the screen by the screen pillar and works perfect.
DAB radio reception so much clearer than FM..
I am just outside the M25 so that might help.

hi troupster, what did you use to go through the roof, grommet/seal etc. have been thinking about it for the CB ariel and to put a coupla 12v spots on the roof rack

Quick update, I bought a dab converter ("kinetic", £20 from Dabonwheels) to fit on my dual mounted aerial and it appears to work really well....Recommended!

I don't think DAB works reliably on the move, the system was never designed that way.

We use a portable DAB radio in both my daily and the bus and its works brilliantly just using its own small telescopic antenna, I was sceptical but it works really well, means I can listen to 6 music on the move :)
