Well its about that time again....

Where and when is everyone going? Put down your fav sites for camping and any sleep stops that you may use for a quick snooze en-route.....

My dates and campsites are fluid at the moment (yep nothing booked). Some of our favs are Trevedra nr Sennen (my absolute favourite), Churchtown farm Gwithian, Tristam & Valley Polzeath,

Just

We went to Lundynant camp site, Polzeath, last year. If we get a chance we'll head that way again this year. Small, basic but nice. Best thing is they have a mobile fresh stone baked pizza company on site on Fridays!

Went to trekkening in Newquay last year! Great site, pool, bar, games room but that's about it.

Only issue we had was bar didn't open until the pool shut ( around 7.30pm ) which meant me or the wife had to sit with the dog during the day when the kids were at the pool! ( the wife says it beer o'clock when the clock strikes 12!
Would have been so much better with the bar open during the day (which the large terrace over looks the pool) where both of us could of been together whilst the kids had fun. Think it was down to no life guard.

Would I go back.... Yes but with no dog on a dog friendly site!

We went to Napps campsite on the north Devon coast last year for the weekend (had the worst weekend ever, but that was personal reasons not the site per-se). They did the same with the pool during the day, kids having fun and a cider in the sun would have sorted me out for sure

Henrys Campsite at Lizard is pretty special and well worth a trip. North Wales for us this year for our long trip but living in Cornwall we go weekends when the suns shining.

Can't do Henry's as we have a dog. I've never managed to get in but have recommended it to others.

I'm not jealous of your location :msn4:
