I'm starting/planning (as many others are) next years jobs/mods and among many others are wheels. i have seen a lot of wheels both on here, other forums and ebay where people are selling a pair of wheels. Is it me or do most vehicles have 4 wheels, why would anyone buy just 2 wheels? Am i missing something or am i just being a bit thick

I've got a pair of centrelines sat in the garage :D

Anyone wanna buy them? :p

In answer to your question... I have no idea

If I had alloys on my bug, it would have to have a matching spare though ;) Not so bad on the van, where the spare is hidden under a cover.

 'Fraid not, they're bug 4 stud ones. :(

Froggy, selling pairs of wheels can be easy if they're the right ones 8)

I bought two empi's for £40.00 like new ...then bought a single empi £30.00 brandnew old stock .All I want now is One or Two more and ive got a cheap set of wheels :D

i have a feeling its because resto cals like skinnies up front and fatter tyres on the back, alot of buses follow the same trend. The holy grail of original fuchs are 4.5s up front and 5s or 5.5s at the back :?

The main reason is due to the wheel size thing, but Its also because the front 2 usually get the most curb rash and get knocked out of shape etc, so people just replace the 2 front as the backs are usually in good nick

I agree, I had a full set of 1967 4.5's, sold them in pairs as people only needed them for the front. I now wish I had kept them all, as I now have a full set of early deep sixes I could have had two full sets of bad ass alloys, one for the split and one for the panel!
