..... more to the point,rubbers.
Right, ive got a 1970 Bay deluxe that had the ally trim in the window rubbers.Ive had to take all the windows out for repairs and unfortunately the cracked old rubbers didnt make it  .
Ive baught a full set of deluxe window rubbers from C&C and seem to be realy good quality rubber.
The trim they sell isnt like the old ally its plastic stuff on a reel  .
My question is, does the chrome strip go in the window rubbers before or after the glass is fitted :?:
Got rear(Side) opening 1/4 windows fitted as well.Dont know weather that makes any difference?

Thanks for any info

Rich

fit before to avoid lots of swearing...getting the rubber in itself is a right royal pain in the backside and may take up to four people if the rubber is kak. On another level i`ve been breaking some deluxes just recently and have og window trim if your intrested.

When i fitted new rubbers i fitted the trim afterwards.
Dont know if it would of made any difference either way to be honest

you could always fit standard rubber and then carefully go round each one with a silver marker
it might just work

^^^^^^^^^^Funny^^^^^^^^^^

Cheers for your input peeps.
I will be fitting mine in the next few days so next time someone asks il give em my opinion

Scott...The sunroof you sold me earlier this year has been chopped up shot blasted and welded back together(The inner frame was used from yours/outer skin was from my old one) and just needs paint and fitting  .Will speak to you about some parts il need in the new year.
Wont have your ally trim thanks,im all spent up till January now :|
