I want to get at the wiring behind my dash how is is the speedo pods to get out or top of the dash

To get the clocks out

Pull off the heater levers by unclipping the little white retaining clips under the dash on each clip. (Careful you don't lose them)

Once pulled off, undo the clock screws and it should come out.

Pull carefully to avoid pulling wires off.

You can try using a small socket to push out the white nylon clips on the heater/ fresh air levers, whilst pulling on the other side. I cut mine away and never bothered replacing them, as the levers stay in position without them, and next time I need to remove the clock unit I won't have to go through the same palaver as the levers will easily pull out. :)
