Small battles and all that.
Brake discs eventually arrived, but there's an issue......

🤦‍♂️

Reverse light switch wiring touches the rear trailing arm mount, so swapped the connectors for flag type. Still close though.

Clutch cable conduit extended and clutch cable greased and in. Fuel pump bracket fitted after stripping the top thread in the gearbox case. Brilliant, but clutch works hunky dory.

Fuel line assembly

Fuel cut off solenoid mounted and fuel lines attached from tank to engine bay. Need a couple of clips along the chassis leg and then the wiring connected.
It's all a bit tight over the gearbox, so I'm glad I did this before the engine goes in.

Coming along well Sparky.
What's the final set up you've gone with for Porsche on the front. IIRC yours is K'n'L, drop spindles, 944 hubs, 911 calipers - what discs and mounting kit you using?

Engine bay jigsaw, suitable for 68-71.

Rear fresh air vents found, so fitted before they hide again.

More wiring, washer switch fixed and connected, indicator stalk connectors plug fitted. Missing the female connector for the ignition switch wiring, so that's on hold.

Little wins.

Nice work Wig, I wished I had installed/moved those hangers back when fitting the corvair, but it looks like a pig of a job!
Getting there

Thought you were using a late bay bar?
I was, but late bay chassis legs are 100mm further apart so the bend on the engine bar was right where I needed to mount it.
I've cut the moustache bar brackets and moved them up 60mm, so that should give me a bit more clearance.

The hangers are spotwelded many times, and also stitched along the top edge. Would've been an absolute nightmare if you were trying to do it cleanly.
