Regrettably the bus is for sale. :?
Had her for three years now but just dont get the time to enjoy her anymore, so its time to let her go to someone who will.
The basics are as follows:
1970 RHD Tin Top Walk Thru
Full resto in 2004 (extensive bills and photos to document it)
356 replica(?)...
yeah, think cuts are the way we'll be going. called at volksheaven in Donny today and they were pretty sure they could help with our list of bits.
Donny dubbers - i'll check 'em out, cheers!
As title really: a mate has just got a 72 that needs a bit of a resto and wondered who you reccommend for panels etc. Seem to remember hearing Schofields were pretty good?
Any suggestions?
went to jamboree at the same venue this year and it was really good. Vee 4 All seems to have same line-up entertainment wise so should be a cracker again. £30 for 2 nights isn't bad - good showers and toilets and indoor stuff to do as well. loads for kids too.
I've got an 85amp leisure battery and split charge relay thingy which all works fine.
What I was wondering was:
I want to add a 2nd 85amp batt to give me cold beer , lights and music for longer.
Do I just get some (correct guage) cable and connect the terminals on each +ve to +ve and -ve to...
MOt'd yesterday - failed
Total cost of test + repairs = £85 (small bit of welding and a couple of bulbs)
Ready for the weekend now, can't wait!
Bought some BRM's last month. They came with nearly new tyres - 155 for the fronts and 165 on the rear all 15inch rims.
I'm currently running 185/65/15s and wondered if the tyres on the BRM's are too skinny or are they ok?
Cheers
