Bought some BRM's last month. They came with nearly new tyres - 155 for the fronts and 165 on the rear all 15inch rims.

I'm currently running 185/65/15s and wondered if the tyres on the BRM's are too skinny or are they ok?

Cheers

I would also guess the profile is too low as well , giving you a low top end.

I would also suspect they are not van tyres and only rated for cars :!:

i think they're gonne be too skinny aswell. reckon i'll have to swap the tyres over then

I have 185/65 15 rear and 185/60 15 front.

The 185/65 rear seems to be a good compromise to keep the gearing ok.

I tried the 155s on brms on my bus and found they were too skinny to stop the wheels catching curbs and being damaged.
also they lack grip when braking in the wet (not enough tread width).
Oh and the weight rating is very low for a bus .
they did look the dogs danglies though
