Belly Pans - Are They Necessary?

The central belly pans that are available new from JK and Schofield come in two pieces. I welded some box section between the chassis rails with nuts to hold them in place. Could think of another way to secure them. Don't know how they where done originally, as mine didn't have any belly pans...

Wheel Arches are flat on my 1972 Crossover?

When I bought my crossover I had one flat arch and one rounded, and didn't notice for about a month!!. The crossover arches are a one year only pattern, with the inner of an early bay and the rounded outer of a late bay. They can be found at JK and Heritage, but as you expect they are more...

    indicator fault

I seem to have sorted out the problem, but still not sure exact what was the cause was! Moved the flasher unit back to the fuse box rather than using the extension cables that had been fitted, and cleaned up the connections on the hazard warning switch..and removed the 40 years of fluff that had...

    indicator fault

Many thanks for your suggestions, will have an attempt at cleaning up the contacts tomorrow, as well as checking out the instrument panel and indicator stalk for any shorts. I do have 2 flashers, so will try the other, and see if I can find a good working unit, even if I have to borrow one! Adam

    indicator fault

Hi there, newbie owner of a 72 crossover asking for a bit of advice on an electrical problem that occurred last time I was driving in the rain after the Kent Festival. Starting with my generator light coming on dull on the dashboard, which went out after I restarted the engine. However...
