I'm after a pair of black plastic kick panels for my 72 crossover which has low indicators early-style but brake fluid reservoir behind the driver's seat which I think is crossover only.
Neither the early nor the late kick panel shapes e.g. at Machine 7 look quite right...
Bang on the money, Ozziedog. A cracked head.
So ... rebuild as a full flow 1776cc happening as we speak. In the meantime, I'm taking the opportunity to get all the tinware and the mounting bar powder coated, along with the bumpers and irons.

With inlet manifolds & carbs removed, I don't think throttle could be any wider!
Reset all the valve clearances and re-ran the tests with similar results - #2 cylinder is way down.
Did the added-oil test before and it helped (50 -> 70 psi) so it looks like piston rings.

Whilst upgrading to ICT34s (see http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?uid=14236&f=4&t=59873&start=0) I have hit another problem.
I was in the midst of adding a balance pipe to try to get my crossover to idle on all 4 cylinders instead of only 2 and 3. With the manifolds out, I thought...
