Unfortunately yes ... one of many reasons Jazz was losing vast money was they continued to send out free to UK and world - no-one was watching finances and post costs spiralled over past couple of years...if we sent it out free we'd be a charity! We are not aiming to make money and be very happy...

spent 3 weeks building raised beds and moving 7 tonnes topsoil by wheel barrow to fill them! Plus being busy doing C&C magazine and sourcing cool new articles to replace usual show coverage...
missing seeing grandchildren and old buses,and wishing i owned one still! P
and ever since I took on VW Camper in 2001 (eek) it was never about just what was prevalent in terms of shiny and "in" names..and never has been (though they have a place as do all types of bus!)
Hope Lavenham runs again .. closest we come in UK to a Hessisch / Camberg vibe and yes I agree Euro...
reading thru these it seems to be less of a reaction against modern buses at shows but more of a desire to enjoy the bus as a camper and not really wanting the full on, busy (and expensive) festival experience ...
which I can empathise with totally...

There seems to be a significant drop off in air cooled classic buses at shows and events. EB used to get really good line ups /displays but it seems very to have been very thin this year eg Stan Hall...
yes the arches always was a part of the vibe...sorely missed by all...still let's hope some more can join in on the day, we all like seeing EBs lined up altogether ...
