I just replaced my bus with the new linkage from butty bits and what a difference with taking all the slack up from a sloppy pedal.
Yours is missing the retaining coil spring which hold the rod to the pedal.
Cheers Gabs.
I was with Adrian Flux and then moved to JK and now on my third year and agreed value and mines at £180 with key care. Also get 10% off all there prices so helps at certain times.
Gabs.
Done the cleaning up with some carb/break cleaner so I will see what’s happening also think I have a slight weep at the rocker covers as oil on the heater- exchangers.
Decided to get some rear mud flaps and went to Butty Bits for the stainless brackets. Very quick with delivery and fitted them within an hour so Looking good now. Highly recommended.!
Did you take the fuel pump out when the distributor was out as if you turned the crank pulley you would knock the timing out by 180. If you took just the distributor out it would only go back in one way.
PS 82 just a number 😊
I used this product once I treated the areas under my bus with a rust gel. hammerite Worked well and was a wax oil mix. Stone chip is ok but not long lasting. Another product is Dinitrol which is a very good product through a gun. Have a look at some reviews.
