Hi got a Vw T2 1972 Tin top braking for parts. Everything is there, all original all parts available. Engine (Green-Re-con), Gear Box, all interior which is a Devon Torvette. Reason for this is my bus is to far gone. Just message me for anything you need and ill give a price.

My engine wouldn't start so I cleaned everything and even my points as they where a bit bitty, but I done this with sand paper :shock: still wouldn't start so I changed my coil now it starts but won't idle nor run when I apply gas? Any ideas?

Ive been debating on whether to buy this for use as a tow car for my x-over bay to tow it from place to place whilst she is being restored. Its a 2.9 V6 Auto with 19000 miles....what do you guys recon? :? :| :x

Oh wish I had of known that! My engine hasn't been running for a month so rather than finishing off the resto I've been busy with the engine...turned out, poor earth lol!

Finally running turns out it was a poor earth connection

I added a fuel filter the other week and that's always full since. However I have had the carb apart a few times but never renewed the gaskets :x :!:

What can/are the causes for my 1600cc from idling as it won't idle unless I allow fuel to collect in the carb then it'll run but as soon as I use the accelerator it'll just die?

Hi all, is it possible to blow the air shut off valve solenoid

got it running, however it wont idle itll just cut straight out?????? cleaner all jets and etc however i havent renewed the gasketts

So today the camper made aloud bang from the exhaust. i presume this was because the carb needed cleaning. I took the carb off and the top of the distributer. cleaned the carb put it all back together and put the distrubiter back on. Now its not starting. a friend said i may have knocked the...
