Yeah I think there has been work done on the rear quarter. I tried without the seal and couldn't get it. I'll maybe get a picture and put it up here.

I've been tweaking away on my sliding door trying to get it to sit right. No matter what I do I just can't get it to pull in at the bottom back corner to line up with the quarter panel. Anyone got any hot tips?

Yeah I think I'll just fit gas struts. I like my fingers too much.

So I should be able to twist mine further to add more tension and hold the door up right? It does sound like it could get nasty eek.

How the hell do the rods meant to work? are they meant to be under tension or do they catch somehow when the door is up. Mine have never worked and I'd like to get them right before I have the roof lining done. Sorry if this is a silly question.
