OK I have a confession. I'm looking on both Early Bay and Late Bay for a bus. As an ignorant newbie I associate Early Bay with drums and Late Bay with discs, plus crossover 1971 buses. Late Bays sound safer but Early Bays are prettier (in my head). But I've just read a touring thread where...

Not thought of a dormobile. The reason Westys have been recommended to me is that they're more solid with the top up when there's a bit of wind on the campsite..? Any comment? BTW we have the first garage revamp people coming tomorrow to give us a price, let's see how that goes 8) Pete

Hmmm... Weekend UK touring, some abroad maybe when confident, definitely camping, targeting a Westy. I've driven LHD vehicles before. I've got a pretty good idea of what I want, I just need to run all my ideas past this forum to see if I'm missing anything :msn4: Pete

Thanks for your continuing advice... Would need to drop maybe 7cm- possibly too much for tyre pressure? Also would need to be able to inflate/deflate every time I go in & out of the garage.. :? I thought about a cover but still think damp would get in from underneath- with the garage I can...
