    CNC machine what would you make.

    Can't get hold of any stainless steel at work, but went to a plater's the weekend and they reckon it will cost £6 each to get them chromed and polished if I get 10 or more done. Would anyone be interested in something like this. Can change it around to spell whatever you want e.g.

    Reading this at work today and decided to give the early bay sign a go, The top one is my old vw badge, the other two are both lasercut from 2mm steel. Might try to get hold of some stainless and give it a go out of that.

    Whats your day job!

    I'm a Toolmaker I work a lathe, a milling machine and a 5 axis laser cutter. Which is great as i can make bits for my bus all day. Only trouble is i have to work silly hours such as this!

    Bumper attachment question

    I've overhauled the bumper on the front of my van and am about to put it back on, but there are no holes for the side steps to screw back onto. These were just dangling from the front section of bumper before. Can i just drill and tap the holes where they go or is there some kind of insert needed?
