I have developed a back fire. It only seems to happen about 2 seconds after I take my foot of off the accelerator. I have read that this is caused by a hole in the exhaust. Can anyone advise? Should I be changing my exhaust or should I check anything else first. Many thanks Eden

This is my interior, I made all the cabinets and bed and used original doors. I used westy R/R hinges for the bed as the action on them is really good

What about the charcoal canister in the engine bay, Should this be connected at both ends?

Thanks for the comments. I have a good seal on the upper rear hatch. When you say the engine bay flap seal do you mean the rear hatch for the engine bay? How do you check heat exchangers for leaks? Is it just a visual check? All other comments would be appreciated, there must be lots of...

I want to try and minimise the smell of fumes in my van as today I got a head ache driving it. I'm not really sure if its petrol, exhaust or just the oily smells you get with an old vehicle. I've done the obvious carb checks and can't find any fuel leaks, but I do have a charcoal filter canister...

Yes they did replace the bushes but I only expected them to replace 1 side which is what it failed the MOT on. Eden

Took my bay to my local classic VW garage to get an MOT. Needed some work to the rear shock bushes and came back with, what seems to me very long bolts to the bottom of the shock. Should it be like this? Both sides are the same. Should it be like this? Please let me know thanks Eden

OK the time has come for me to make the decision on putting this kit on my van. There must be a few of you that are running this kit. Please let me know if you think its worth the money, whats the ride like, are there better value options out there. All comments gladly recieved.
