I have now removed the ignition barrel which is different from the replacement barrels adverised for the yaer of van. I will try to get a replacement key made by tacking the barrel to a lock smith.

When I first use my van after a day or two of no use the brakes pull quite severly to the left. After about 5 mins of driving and braking it all seems OK. I have drums all round, is it likely to be a cylinder sticking? should I just replace it or check other things first. Thanks Eden
