but we all got to ogle it an see it in the metal at stanford...so it was worth it to show it to the world. Personally if i owned it.. I think I'd remortgage or spend my kids college fund than let that go [...oh yeah I've already done that..which is why I have'nt been round to buy it :lol: ]...

I know there was a recent post about them on splitscreen van club.....but just to reiterate.....they are not 'now sadly defunct' as stated in the new interior book 'Inspirational Interiors' [on page 68/69]. If there is a reprint maybe that could be put right. Their website went down for a while...

I use a late bay everyday.....don't think there would be a great deal of difference in using an early?? What does make it easier is an eberspacher heater tho.

my other half really wants to raid the savings for this.......has anyone make a panel useble as a second car with a family ...is it possible

as an owner of a split and a bay [both unrestored] I'd have to agree......original bay all the way, in preference to 'restored' anything, we also chatted to the owner, what was sad was that he drove it to 'displays'..to preserve the condition and so it doesn't deteriate which I think is...

the ET is 12. But I could'nt say for sure what the offset of an early bay is. Iam in surrey, but could take to vanfest

Found that if you go direct to north hants tyres, they are £52 inclusive instead of £74 ish from all other suppliers....so about a £88 saving on a set of 4...thought I'd pass that on.
