I tried overtaking once, found that blind spot in the mirrors. Or rather found that mondeo in the blind spot and decided life was better spent hugging the hard shoulder.
But my mirror slowly works it way down too, will have to look at it one day

The only two downsides were true British, the weather and the traffic. Met a couple of split ties on the way down, one chap admitted to wanting a bay but his wife loves with split screen too much.
