    Importing advice please

Yeah, been given a price of $2000 to Southampton. The 5% VAT (BTI) you mention, wasn't sure of that but i assumed there is some kind of import duty tax on this side? Think the Bus in question may have sold anyhow, to be honest it's not a bargain bus by any means but looking for something solid...

Hey Guys, As the title suggests i'm looking into importing a bus and i'm looking for some advice on the whole thing. My main question really is what happens if things go bad and nothing arrives, all transactions would be PayPal so would they offer any protection? Is there anything else that...

    Not a happy Bunny!!!!!

Like Easy said 'there's something in the water'. Picked our other car up yesterday (Fiesta ST) from the body shop where it's been for THREE MONTHS, had an accident in may and although there was not that much damage they couldn't get the thing going so after being taken from one place to another...

Will we make it, will it fall apart, will it end in tears???

Best of luck. If it's any consolation the feelings mutual, not going to Camper Jam but off to cornwall on Sunday for a week. It's our first long drive in the van and tbh i'm praying we get down with no probs! Van had a good service last week but the engine seems to be a bit of a mix and match...

Gooding Aluminium panel trim bulk buy

As long as you take your time and not heavy handed its fairly simple, i kinda held it with my feet and gently bent it. Not the most technical method but it worked, only thing i bent it the wrong way with the larger side facing down not the thinner side  . Seb. Sorry fella.

The bed is sat on 18mm of ply, i put two lots of 9mm down and with the spacers i used it brings it into the right position for it to work. To be honest it was all a bit trial and error!! Sorry mate i can't for the life of me remember what size foams i ordered but the van is getting a service at...

    Things to do in Gloucester?

    Engine identification?

There's no adaptor the carb bolts straight onto the manifold, so does this mean i can't put the correct 34Pict3 back on?? Does this also mean that the manifold isn't right?? Still a bit confused by the B3 engine code though, if anybody on here has come across this engine code before i'd be...

    Engine identification?

My point exactly, it seems to run fine but for the fact it seems to struggle top end. That said i've no experience of driving these as this is the first aircooled i've owned so nothing to compare it too but it seems like it's screeming for it's life at 55-60mph, although the exhaust noise...

    Engine identification?

Before i begin i'll apollogise for what is a probably a dumb question! Took my van to a local garage today to get it booked in for a service and it's thrown up a couple of questions as to the identity of my engine. The code on the engine is B351795X which from my little knowledge would state...

Gooding Aluminium panel trim bulk buy

I've used this trim for my headlining and for a full tintop you require 3x2.5m lenghts of 'J' trim and 1x4m length of the 'I' trim, not sure if they do a longer length of the 'J' trim although it would be worth finding out as with the 2.5m lengths they're not long enough to do the whole length...
