I think we can state that chromed wheels should NOT be clearcoated :mrgreen: Bought fake centerlines to my bug think they were called "centrelines"they were made out of aluminium and clearcoated look like sh-t after one season so then the only thing that could save them was to wet sand them...

Thanks for replies guys, uber cool im not driving the bay wintertime its just a summer cruiser ;) Resto-raider you might be very right that the clearcoat might crack due to the finish on the wheels. Do we have a wheel stand three here at earlybay?
