Is the engine an upright ar a pancake and what size? I'm guessing its an upright since this is EarlyBay but you never know. On this side of the pond there are some that really favor the larger FI engine. I'm running a merged header from BugPack on my 1835.

They should fit if they're from an early 76. Midway through 76 starting with VIN# 216 2078 000 VW changed the rails. The later are interchangable with Vanagon seats.
