    Vehicle diagnostic tool

Usually in the collector, but the vintage speed exhaust has them on the ends of the muffler, or there is a bolt on tailpipe mount for those who don’t have an O2 bung in the exhaust

    Vehicle diagnostic tool

i have the innovate LM2 , it is invaluable for getting the jetting of your carburetors into the correct range. Most people are driving around with a rich mixture and have no clue, because it "runs good" the LM2 logs the info too so you can download it and graph it to see what's happening...

Fuel Hose and the dreaded E10

I run Gates barricade hoses, I pulled one off last year to check it, and sliced it open, after 7 years it still looked new inside, it had stiffened up some from the heat in the engine bay, but it had no cracks or degradation of the cover either

    Dellorto Jetting Advice Please

you would be best to invest in an O2 gauge weather a dash mount, or portable like an LM2 to see what your engine is doing and how it needs to be jetted. No two engines are alike, so it's a crap shoot asking for advice. my innovate LM2 has been used on numerous engine combinations to help jet...

Parts Wanted Stereo Front to suit padded dash or complete stereo

Most of the 70’s stock VW radios had faceplates with the rounded corners In Canada and the USA . There was someone who swapped a stock faceplate onto one of the modern cheap offshore Bluetooth radios, it came out pretty good and looked stock when it was off. The other option is to get someone...

    Parts Wanted Engine inspection hatch

The only support rail that gets cut is the center one, it sits inside the others. I don’t have a good picture of it at the moment. I was repainting the engine bay on the weekend and felt like crap Saturday night and Sunday, so not much else got done

    Parts Wanted Engine inspection hatch

Yes type 3 squareback, it’s probably the biggest hatch you can put in. It goes right from the gas tank hatch edge to the door latch. But mine is hinged by the rear hatch, It Just fit better that way

    71 Westy project

we bought ourselves a 71 westy that someone started a resto back in 2005, painted it and then it got pushed to the corner of the garage and left under a cover. Since it didn't come with an engine, I decided we're doing a EJ2.5 swap instead of the aircooled engine. We already have a couple of 2...
