Stay away from Febi, they are way to stiff!!!! The only positive on them are the boots, i have them on and it took nearly 3 years to loosen up. From what i here Nakata is the way to go.

The heat risers especially at the left schould be damm hot! What kind of air cleaner are you using, aftermarket or stock? The stock system is able to suck up some warm air if all the stuff for that is present, crappy aftermarket are prone to carb freezing during the colder days.

I did have that rub to the far right too, it was touching the swaybar a little, i mounted a HD swaybar and it is ok now! i think they are bend different as a stock one. A HD swaybar and koni's are just perfect!! Cornering like a sportscar now :mrgreen:

My new 1776 with 37mm performs quit the same as my old 1641 with a mild cam and twin carbs. Gas/milage wise it is a little better now, but it is a lot more quiet as with the double carbs, and a cold start is also a big plus, it runs in just 1/2 a turn! My old double carbs use to dry up if not...

Hi Rob, Thanks! My carb is also converted and rebuild by Guido, but i don't know what jet sizes it has as i bolted it right on Guido told met he rejetted it for my engine size and it runs/performs great! @cornishSilver i pm'd you Cheers, Harry

Thank you sir! The mpg is a little (very little) better as it runs about 8% lower revs.
