    Grating feeling from steering column

Cheers sparkywig. I'll check the bearing. So the steering box filler hole is pretty obvious to find?

    Grating feeling from steering column

It feels high up and not something related to the steering box (although I was wondering how one tops it up?) It feels noticeably bad while backing out of the garage but not whilst driving. It seems to be worse when first moving the van. Bearing in the column? Could it all just need a greese...

    alternator for only outputting 12.8v

I bought a new unit and swapped the brushes to see if made a difference and it didn't Today I fitted the new alternator and the was not a fun job, made even harder but the engine bay being so low down. I couldn't get the fan undone from behind the shroud so a lot of bits needed to come off. New...

    Feeling underpowered.

Check vacuum advance is connected and there are no leaks. Also, suck on the advance pipe with the dizzy cap removed and check the advance plate in the dizzy moves.

Engine cuts out on sudden stops

I had this issue and the major problem was with a warn out old carb and the idle jet. New carb improved things for a while but then the problem came back and it turned out I had an air leak from my manifold rubber gaskets. They looked ok-ish (minor cracks) but upon removal, we're swimming in...

Parts Wanted Continental Roof Bed wanted

The ones I have have a 10kg breaking weight EACH! Too much I think. It is going to take some experimenting with gaps and how far to counter sink the magnets.

Parts Wanted Continental Roof Bed wanted

Thanks chaps, I think I'll use some magnets as the can be easily set into the wood. Next problem is the dimensions of the pillow holder thing. I have everything else (bar the wood).

    Westfalia Serendipity

This is lovely. I found a small bowl that almost fits (it was my nice's 'mud kitchen' bowl) but it just sits proud.

I've been all over google, bay and amazon but can't seem to find what is in my mind. The above studs look more for curtains but I would be wrong. The ones shown in this picture are much more substantial. Also, where might one get the pillow rest u-type clamps? I'm guessing the rod is around 8mm.
