I don’t weld but wouldn’t you need to take the tank out to weld a hatch in? Same probably if you used a grinder to cut the hole. It’s been a good few years since I’ve taken the engine and tank out, but it really isn’t that big of a deal. Gets you to look at everything closely again anyway which...
