I replaced vital, important parts today!

The engine lid support? It has that metal rod which rides on two, little, metal wheels? I replaced my little, metal wheels today, and I’m chuffed. Here are some FAQs:

“Were the old ones broken?” No, they worked fine, even 50 years later.

“Then why did you replace them?” I found a source for those wheels made in Stainless Steel!!!

“Are those any better that the original ones?” No idea, but they’re Stainless Steel!.

“Do the originals rust or something?” The originals don’t rust because they’re protected from the elements.

“Why again?” STAINLESS STEEL!!
