Wanted instrument panel terminal for fuel gauge

I also tried a glue gun, but it came loose again after a while. I ended up using a gel based super glue that did the trick . Hopefully Sparky will find you one 🤞

Wanted instrument panel terminal for fuel gauge

    That’s how I sorted mine … call it a Plan B if Plan A doesn’t come into fruition 👍

No thermostat and no vents flaps

I’m not 100% sure about the flaps themselves being different, but the actuator bar at the back differs between single and twin because of the doghouse cooler. Hopefully someone will post to clarify that. Return springs are readily available, as are the retaining clips that secure the actuator...

No thermostat and no vents flaps

I managed to source some and fitted them last year when changing to twin webers. As others have said they don’t fully open in colder weather, allowing the engine to be controlled at a nice operating temperature. I noticed this on our last trip of the year last December and was slightly...

    Indicator issues

Yep, I just have LED’s for dash pod, main beam and full beam illumination. The others are standard 5w lamps.

    1967 Neptune Blue Deluxe

That really is a well thought out loom, splitting all those circuits out makes life a lot easier 👍

    Indicator issues

Have you fitted LED’s for the indicator lamps in the dash pod? I chased my tail with a similar problem a while back. Fitted standard lamps on indicator lamps and all then good👍.

    Removing heater tube

I have an underslung diesel heater piped into the front section, it’s brilliant when tootling around in the winter. I didn’t have a centre pipe, but would say definitely do the front cut as you have shown. Originally I was just drawing air in from outside for the heater intake, but have since...

    Ben's 72 Bay

I did the same and then snaked it over to the left hand side just before the front beam when coming from the rear. I don’t have a centre pipe, but do have a flexible heat duct that connects to the front totem, from the diesel heater, so followed that route and came up near where the drain hose...

🤣 sorry I should’ve been more specific, ozzie’s beat me to it 👍

    Steering Box

As above, it's difficult unless removed from the van. I stripped mine down to clean, and re-do the seals / gasket. That was the only way I could be sure to get out all the gunk, not having a parts washer or an oil bath. On the plus side it was a lot easier to get the Penrite lube in once it...
