    No Charger ???

I have a very similar Sealey model, not as cheap mind but very useful. I’ve got a fair few tools in their 12v range so have plenty of interchangeable batteries. I’m sure it’ll be fine if you can charge it 👍

Servo problem with new Weber ict 34’s

I think he did mean between the manifold risers, I’ve seen Dave’s set up, balance pipe going from rear of manifold risers. I’m sure he’ll reply to confirm this 👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

I decided on this windscreen aerial and this powered splitter as I wanted to retain FM if at all possible. I forgot to even try the FM on our last trip as DAB worked well. Only downside with the aerial is you have to scrape some paint off the pillar to attach the grounding foil, but the foil...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Blimey it was cold Friday night, but it was worth it when appreciating this view of the lake on Saturday morning. Festive Frankie loved it in the Coffee House too 👍 Cab heater was greatly appreciated both there and back. Winnie ran great 👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Arrived at Pen-y-bont site at Bala early this afternoon, it’s only a 50 mile jaunt cross country from Llanasa, it’s a great drive along the B4501 It’s gonna be a cold one tonight, we’re well prepared. On the subject of temperature, the inside / outside worked well as did the new sump sender...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Guess that depends where you live where you’re travelling to and the signals (Data / DAB / FM) available. When non of the above is available then iPod comes in handy 👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

I’m not gonna get too hopeful as we’re in semi rural Wales and well aware of the DAB black spots when driving our daily around. I have plenty of tunes back up plans 👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Couple of little mods before our last outing of 2023 to Bala this Friday. Firstly the DAB aerial conundrum, doesn't help living in a poor reception area but the fact I was picking up 5 Live inside the garage was a pretty good sign. Next fitted an inside / outside temp display, fired up...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Decided to uninstall the Save My Bug, before our trip to Porthmadog last week, as it’s been a bit of a faff when checking oil (I carry the original dipstick). I also wanted to see how hot the original dipstick got as a test after a long run (which it didn’t). I’d also seen a rather nice AAC...

    Carburretor Quiz

As stated, a decent Solex would be a better solution if you were planning to stick with a single carb set up. Are you getting full advance from your dizzy and what do you have fitted? There’s other things to consider if you’re struggling up hills etc 👍

    Carburretor Quiz

Thumbs up for the Twin Webers 34 ICT from me, although mine are on a SP 1641 so my options were limited.

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Cracking 3 days away down in Porthmadog. Son & family was on the Haven site next door so some quality time was had by all. The site we stayed on was lovely and quiet, with great facilities too. Weather was kind and Winnie ran superb all weekend, Twin 34’s have made the van such a better...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Stopped at Criccieth front on the way back from a run to Pwllheli Beach. We’re definitely dodging the weather He’s bloody ball mad 🤣 Skagen has phantom voltage out for DAB so just need to swap my current powered aerial for a passive type and it should work 🤞👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Yes it’s definitely more accessible these days, it’s a shame they don’t do something with the sidings and have some old mock carriages there. Still worth a visit though to appreciate the architecture and significance of it. The Skagen still looks a bit modern, but it’s nice and flat (not a...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

I had 2 options Remove the other 4 wheels Operate a FIFO system, to keep 6 cans in the wheel at all times 🤣 I opted for the latter for obvious reasons 👍

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Gorgeous morning in Llanasa, Winnie’s loaded up for Black Rock Sands Porthmadog. Garreg Goch campsite, hard standing obviously. Wide 5 outdoor fridge spare tyre always comes in handy at this time of year 👍

    Buddy 1970 Early Bay

Thanks Granite, you’re right it is a labour of love but the end result always outweighs the effort. From memory, the only thing I recall was not to over-tighten the switch. I think the original supply side of the switch was taken from + side of the coil. I wired it via a spare ignition feed...
