I would suggest that if you are worried about it overheating you need to start doing some basic servicing .change oil check tappets etc make sure that all your tinware is fitted correctly. I would also fit a temperature guage

I'm running a hot Wolfsberg Performance 1776 with 42mm webers and it runs of the standard fuel pump and a regulator. The pressure from a standard pump is more than capable

I've just done mine with Sheep's wool insulation . as its a natural product it absorbed moisture I have also sound deadened the outer panels .

Manage to sort it . The old dynamo was a bit worse for ware . bearings had gone and bushes were unevenly worn . when I stripped it down there wasnt even a woodruf key in the Fan end. :evil: someone botching again Never mind eventualy found a dynamo that worked even though I had to re-thread...
