Cheers mate, No its just had a good wash and had a double coat of wax. The sun has made the colours different to what they actually are, the body looks really white in the pic and the roof box too beige. Got more pads through the post today so go options for looks now too :msn4:

How do you pack your van?

Mine are a removable gutter foot pack so they can be on and off in a couple of minutes, foot adjustment is infinite along the gutter to depending on load. If you find yourself needing to go back down the roof box route drop me a pm and I will give you the part numbers etc

How do you pack your van?

I have gone from this trailer set up which was really good with loads of room To this 1970's roof box with tow bar bike rack, yet to be tested but it put £500 back into the wallet (for over bus stuff). Yet to be tested but think it will work for us, less to go wrong and cheaper on the...

Your Early Bay Picture of the Day .....

Nice pic mate. You may or may not of noticed you have a cable hanging down rear centre.

Little update. Decided there were to many disadvantages to get fixed feet on the roof so have gone down the gutter pack route. I do like the look ( badass comes to mind), not sure on the Northcore pads though. I do have some others on route so have scope to chop and change. I managed to find a...

    portable solar panel

Just seen this one, Mine is mounted on the roof rack so can't give any advise I'm afraid other than its a big trade off giving up your roof rack space. I would probably have gone mobile like Stu if it hadn't already been done

    Westy roof bar opinions/ladder advise

If you were looking for bars for your westy which would you go for. My bus is already on beefed up AT tyres so atm I'm leaning towards the Beige bus. I think they all look cool in their own way as I'm sure mine will when I get to it. One things for sure, I'm going to need a ladder!! Anyone with...

I haven't made my mind up on the roof bars yet Alistair, fixed or removable. Soon as I've decided and buy some I will get some pics up. Its a shame really as they could do with being quite a bit wider to run the full width of the bars. I will probably get some some more plain black to go either...

Well guys if you don't ask you don't get!!! Massively exceeded my expectations, loving the clock and the Hula girl is a definite upgrade to our existing one  They asked for a few pics of the van and that was all.

Thanks for the reply Alastair, hope all is well. I have had a good route through all the paperwork but can't find much for troubleshooting. It did it last year when the leisure battery went and a new battery cured it until now. What the guy says on the copy and paste makes perfect sense for what...

Bit of an update. Just swapped out my alternator and regulator for an all in one Bosch jobbie. It presented as a problem in a strange way, it was outputting 13.5v but was causing a parasitic drain on the main battery when electrics were being used with the ignition off, guessing something funky...
