    Engine bay fire

I think I'm going to go with the Blazecut as I have twin carbs. I feel that potentially an extinguisher type would direct the main force of the powder/gas at the wrong place, unless of course you have a single carb. Looks like better coverage to me and as its activated from melting the tube the...

    Engine bay fire

I don't have either yet but I am sort of agreeing with your thoughts on it tbh. If your traveling at any speed then the gases will surely just whooooosh out with the air in a very short space of time. Although the powder is going to cause the van to be off the road it will be at the cost of...

    Compressors

Just wondering what compressors you guys are using. I don't want to break the bank and I'm going to be using it for wax oiling once a year & tyre inflation . Any recommendations? Cheers

    Alternator Woes.... Again

I never had to find out myself as I saw the problem without needing to suss it out. I would have thought you would go across the terminals but going to earth should work but will maybe show 6-7v rather than 12-14.6v? This may help before you have a poke about...

    Alternator Woes.... Again

Id check the output voltage on the alternator with the plug disconnected, I had a crappy connection on my plug and the spade would slip up as I plugged it in, may be worth a look

    Lure Bass Fishing

Got any decent bass spots your willing to share? I'm heading to Cornwall in August with my rod in the bus, in the hope to catch a decent bass.we used to be allowed access into our local docks in Sheerness which was heaving with bass . Some idiot ruined it by getting the fishing club kicked out...

    Life choices?

Padstow is very nice but a bit out on a limb with everywhere being a bit of a drive. Bedruthan steps 20-30min drive is very nice, only go at low water though. Its worth getting the water taxi over the estuary to Rock and having a walk around to Daymer bay. If your taking mountain bikes theres...

    charging problems

I had similar after playing with my tow bar wiring, I manage to get the earth wire wrong so it was discharging the brand new battery very quickly. If you have been doing something electrical up to this point I'd look there if not do Ozzie,s suggestion and if it's not hot get a new battery

    Cutting out

Ok, running my own thread here lol. I have reconnected the Flexi ducting back up and gone for a spin and all seems to be good although I wasn't as hot as earlier. If anyone can chip in with a mechanical explanation that this would be the cause that would be cool. I can put it on the something...

    Cutting out

Just been having a poke about, I have found the r/h side air ducting disconnected from the heat exchanger, could this be the cause?
