As well as checking out the vans check the 'vibe' from the owners. I had the chance to move on elsewhere when my van was pinched two years ago but stuck with an early as the people on here and at shows are great. Plus the vans are to my mind better!

Was inspired by this thread and have just fitted my plates on the van... Cheers for all the pics which convinced me to use States Plates, excellent all round. Good online design tool so you see what you are getting.

OK, I know they are as rare as rocking horse **** but worth the ask! Just to clarify, my van is a 1967 Bay, wipers for later earlybays, latebays and splittys dont fit.

Shame we didn't get to say hi, we were the club area right by the entrance. I heard the same thing from the food people but said I didn't know what'd be there so had brought food. Another time people may well plan to eat at the food outlets.

All in all a great weekend, not Peppercorn but as they said 'spirit of...'. On the plus side loads of space, bogs clean, bands great, superb farm shop opposite, newspaper shop a mile bike ride away. We got into club camping but the normal camping looked a bit regimented, not pick your spot as...
