Great idea.Real vehicles with owners that have worked hard them selfs to keep it alive not gone through the who's who's list of restorers,mag shoot then you see it on Ebay.Or a T5 with big alloys,sub's and LCD TV fresh from your local Halfords.Classic Aircooled in what ever shape :D

As the tailgate catch had moved while on the way to Big Bang today i put the cusions etc back after a week to dry the interia out.Cleaned the pop top sides ready for the off again :)

Your van your choice is spot on but the flap ones i have seen over time wear into the sidewall which can't be good :(

1600cc on a 091 is fine take off is so much better.Before i would floor it when pulling away through the low gears and still not make much progress a single port set up on a 002 stump puller.When i used to hit sixty it was like the engine was going to leap out the back now it will accelerate up...

Back on the road at last.Had to re-jet carb,change the heat riser,re-open the warm air pick up,add a manifold warmer and advance ignition timing. All in all the end result has been better than i could have hoped for.Went for first run today and could keep up with the traffic,MPG has gone...
