    Edd China is back

Yeah, noticed that - haven't watched it but was surprised he went all the way to Norway?! Also he's on the cover of a Classic car Mag - something to do with fixing up an e-type with the help of loads of other people? Did used to love Wheeler Dealers, especially seeing how Edd did some of the...

Hi, Can't help with the Ram Pipes, but noticed you're based in the North East? Where was the rolling road you used & would you recommend them? Cheers!

Fuel line - 5.56mm to pump, 8mm to Twin Carbs?

I haven't - is there a particular one I should be looking to get? Any ideas what issues is it likely to cause if a regulator isn't used? As for the pump, previous owner had ran an electric pump but swapped back to the stock one.

Thanks Sparky - Have now ordered some!

Fuel line - 5.56mm to pump, 8mm to Twin Carbs?

Just got some new R9 fuel hose from machine7 to replace my current hose. Looks like the Fuel hose on my bus is 5.6mm to the pump and 8mm to the Twin Carbs. From a bit of searching am I right in thinking the 8mm from the manual pump to carb is intentionally to reduce the pressure at the carb...

Old school ravers edition - Underworld..

Yeah, they've still got it. Saw them at Bluedot the other year and at one point it was lashing it down, but somehow the rain made even better. And when that baseline to REZ kicks in... https://youtu.be/nUhSoF3HF1Q

Twin Carbs - What route for fuel lines?

Fab! -Thanks for the replies. I'll have to look into moving the breather box that's currently mounted on the firewall.

Twin Carbs - What route for fuel lines?

Looking to replace my fuel lines on my 69/70 bus. Previous owner fitted a 2110 engine with twin Weber 44 idfs, and has a breather box fitted on the firewall. Access behind fan is proving tricky!! So, fuel line currently runs from my standard fuel pump, straight between the inlet manifold of...

Deluxe side trim - LHD or RHD?

Never realised it was specifically sided! But to try & answer your question, just checked on my lhd US Bay and there's a difference in the length of trim used on the sliding door versus the panel opposite it. So sliding door trim is about 123cm. The trim on the Panel directly opposite is only...

Anyone had a rewire from Iain Auto Electrician and can answer a query?

Oops! Just noticed I said Paul_q had mentioned the black relay when actually he mentioned the metal one (with yellow/white wires). Like he said, metal one is headlights & I think small black plastic is indicators.

Anyone had a rewire from Iain Auto Electrician and can answer a query?

Had my Bay rewired by Iain and now like yours I've got the bladed fuses. It made a big difference - remember asking if Iain had swapped my bulbs out as they were so bright, but actually he hadn't - it was just the original loom had resistance issues & the lights had always appeared dim. Don't...

Accelerator Cable Snapped - Best way to replace?

So swapped the broken accelerator cable for a new one the other day. At the time I noticed it was slightly shorter. Anyway today finally got to take the van out but as soon as I started it the revs went full on. Guess the cable was too tight/short? So I swapped it for another longer different...

    Glastonbury 2017

Last year we arrived at 1am and they let us in to the campervan field no problem. There always seems to be stewards on the gates.

Accelerator Cable Snapped - Best way to replace?

Mine snapped at the cable hook attached to the accelerator linkage under the pedal. There was a small tube at the back of the fan housing - but then nothing between that and the tube near the gearbox. Cheers!
