    Our 1970 Devon "Izzy"

I drilled small holes through the 5.5mm ply and into the triangular corner brackets on the aluminium roof then just screwed through with self tappers. Seems to of worked pretty well at the moment. The ply, vinyl and padding only cost around £40. Happy really.

    Under van protection

First of all sorry if this has already been covered but struggled with the search tool. I'm looking at protecting the underside of the van and wheel arches etc and wondered the best way to do it. There is no rust to treat so was thinking of just getting underneath and wire brushing everywhere...

    Fitting an interior light

Cheers all, was a bit cold in the garage yesterday, couldn't feel my fingers so have left it for 1 night this week. Did notice I don't have any door switches though so looks like it will just have to have a positive feed to it for now.

We are a family of 4 with an 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl so could do with space. Any pics and names would be...

    Fitting an interior light

I have no idea. Just bought a new one as ours was missing one. What are the 3 connectors for?? I guess the single spade on 1 side is earth? If so, what do I connect to the other 2? I've got a Haynes manual but can't find anything in there. Any help would be much appreciated. Paul.

    Porsche front seats

Cheers Hilly, I've managed to get the drivers seat out and the mountings look like they are part of the van, so do I drill holes then put spacers on to clear the old runners?

    Porsche front seats

Never fitted front seats before but have had these kicking around for last 8 years, gonna have a crack at fitting them this weekend I think, is there anything I need to do or is it as simple as bolting through the 2 holes in the sliders at each side?

Put some soundproofing to the aluminium roof then made the headlining from 5.5mm hardwood covered with a woolen fabric and a white pattern vinyl. Pretty happy with it and only took a couple of hours to sort. If I did it again though I would put less woolen padding in , toying with taking it down...
