As long as you have no sharp objects hanging out like bumper irons then no! Mine passed fine without.

used a gasless welder with the correct wire on my bus! looked at gas one but i did an outdoor welder and was advised to use gasless as the gas would just blow away :lol: Any how, gassless for me and as it was the first time i've ever welded i just learnt as i went on!
