I doubt it, surely if you welded up a door you take the step off in the process. Some people just like symmetry, probably just wanted to make it look nicer, but I agree, looks odd.

If it was me, I'd go to majestic and ask them to recommend a red, a rose and a white at around £20 each, as mentioned above, because as with many products there is a very good middle ground, with some expensive wines being overpriced to make a killing from the people who just want to spend big...

I've got my front seats and rear seat recovered, just kept the middle seat incase I want it in the future. How much do you need?

You need to buy some nylon bits, available from a lot of vw suppliers online. They're a couple of quid, and they push into the small holes in the front of your bus, then the badge pushes into them. Very easy.

When I imported my crossover, it didn't have an indicator stalk so I had to buy one. I got lucky as somebody was selling one on ebay and I was the only bidder. I can't look at it right now, but I think that is the right one.

Ad, I've got a spare lap belt, but it's not a westy one obviously. You can have it til you get what you're after.
