    OUR 1969 Deluxe

    You'll need to rewire the rear lights. US style red indicators aren't acceptable for uk MOT Most of the guys on here either change the rear light units to UK spec. Or you can rewire the reverse lights to flash orange.

    Why is a Boot called a boot in the UK?

    Surely we should be asking them these questions....? Hood? Trunk? Fanny Pack? Freeway? Sidewalk? etc etc etc...... it's our language....they changed it! :lol: I understood the boot word to be in kind of reference to clothes......in a similar way to Bonnet (type of hat) No idea why though!

    So finally got it all back together. Now running adjusters at the front on stock width front beam, rear is creative adjustable spring plates. 185/65 15 yokos on MWS Arts WAS IS hope you likey ........ I am proper happy.

    Small pull lever under drivers chair

    There's a flap inside the pipe, the lever opens and closes it to direct heat from the exchangers I am sure someone will be along to explain it better in a while.

    Cheers fella the more I look at it the more I like it..... I am a bit concerned though, when the beam was off I removed the rubber bump stops...now he's back on the wheels the lower torsion arm hits the metal 'bump stop arm' I assume that I'll need to cut this off? Anyone got any idea how much...

    So finally got him back off the axle stands and onto the floor..... Bit lower than I has thought so maybe a little tinkering and then fit the rear spring plates took some time today to clear the garage and see if he fits ......... Happy days.... and he's in ......... Now, where do I put...
