You will need the little plastic converters to use h4. I put um in mine a few years go cound not believe the difference lol actually being able to see where I was going.

No there aren't any springy things inside they go on the outside. It's like a rocking lever you push the roof up until the holes line up then the lever pops into the holes and holds it in place. Have you tried googling a pic

hi pal i leave mine up in most winds it just rocks you to sleep :lol: some times i do face in to the wind where poss if its really strong but thats only so i can sit with the slidingdoor open
