    Anyone going to Dub vacation?

I'd go with Pinky. We had a great time camping in Suffolk. Met some lovely people and was amazed by how friendly almost everyone attending was. The kids ran free for the week, which was great, made good friends and there was still plenty for them to do. I think the concept is brilliant and I...

    Anyone going to Dub vacation?

Don't you mean the shower... Mind you, if this rain keeps up...

    Anyone going to Dub vacation?

I'm off with the family. Looks like good fun and if it all goes south, there's always Great Yarmouth. What's the worst that can happen? Oh... 80% chance of precipitation...

    Battery keeps going flat

It won't solve your draw issues but I fitted a couple of these, one on main and one on aux battery to isolate the lot when it's parked up. It's also a useful anti-theft tool... i did away with the small lead, as the idea was total electrical isolation...

The best car you have driven.

Chokes me to say - Renaults. FWD was the original Clio Williams - amazing fun and could really drive it on the throttle - proper lift-off oversteer... RWD was the Alpine A610 V6 Turbo - just ludicrously fast, looked great, handled like a supercar and you could be a real hooligan if you...

    Wanted! Oil Tempeture dip stick

I've just stripped all the gauges out of mine and have an old VDO temp sensing dipstick that came with it. It was originally wired to a VDO gauge (also available if you want it) but I hooked it up to a more modern version. Was never satisfied with the accuracy of it though, so tried the dipstick...

the worst car you have driven...

My dad's Citroen CX, which bizarrely I drove for practice when learning. Whoever designed it was on some serious drugs... brake pedal was a switch, power steering was like driving a video game, stupid indicator switch on top of the dashboard, rotating drum speedo and that suspension... wait 5...

    Who's going to bugjam?

I'm going with the family but heading straight for the quiet family camping - might stand a chance of getting the kids off. Also, not sure how much dubstep I can endure without triggering a psychotic episode. This is all assuming the weather forecast is better than CamperJam - not going to...

    SPOTTED thread

Saw a nice cream/beige EB heading south on the A6 this morning, passing the Wilstead turning. Couldn't see an EB.com sticker but it was very nice... and sounded a bit lairy too

What did you do with your early bay today

Ripped out the gauges, including the paranoia-inducing oil temp dial, that I have spent the last two years staring at and not enjoying the drive. Much better...

Camper Jam Tickets for sale NOW SOLD.

The folding 'van has probably around the same footprint as my Khyam Driveaway awning but is a hell of a lot easier to put up... Is there someone we can ask - a moderator? If they'll let me, I'll have the tickets definitely and square you up before you go away... Cheers, Jim

D'oh - just started a 'Tickets wanted' thread before reading down properly. Have you still got yours for sale? What sort of space is available with them - just bought a folding caravan and keen to try it out... It's for two adults and three kids... Many thanks, Jim

Cocked up massively - left it too late. Anyone got any spare CamperJam tickets - event is sold out now. I'm after either a 'Family' pitch or something in 'where you park it' for two adults and kids... Any help hugely appreciated. Gonna get killed if I can't find some... Cheers, Jim

    Stereo questions.

I'm liking the look of that head... have to admit to being massive Pioneer source fan ever since they won a comparison test in Revs magazine. Never been disappointed. Good luck with the install.

    Stereo questions.

My Infinities are 50mm deep and from memory, there's stacks of room at the bottom of the doors - if you go for components, you should be good to mount the mids down there and the tweeters high up on the face of the door card. Jim

    Stereo questions.

I'm about to switch to a Pioneer DEH77 that I've had for a while in a few cars. I've currently got another Pioneer head but it's a bit too flashy... This is the 77: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pioneer-DEH-P77MP-CD-MP3-Dash-Receiver-/110878405789?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item19d0de349d"...
